Or you can search RX8Club too .... the OMP already runs at it's max setting under most track conditions. Unless you some how modify the system the only other option is pre-mix

My car is mostly used as a track car, I just need to be extra careful and cautions about everything that goes into the car. I am not saying anyone's tune is bad, I just want to see it for myself to understand it better.
The accessport is capable of monitoring your OMP position as it's included as part of the CAN signals it can read. As Jeff mentioned, the stock map included with the AP IS the OEM map. The values that are listed in the OMP table show you what the stock values are.

As for dangers, just don't take away OMP values from the stock table. Anything extra will be fine.

This is very true. Above 7,000 RPMS the OMP is over 1/2 way open in most of the stock settings. If you're running high RPMs on the track then you won't see many changes.

For anyone reading this thread here's the bottom line: Unless you have a very specialized need such as a motor swap the accessPORT is capable of addressing any needs you have. Period.

I thought it was more than that, but I haven't looked at those maps in a long time

you could always employ the Racing Beat modified OMP, but given the cost, installation hassle, and limited impact over the pre-mix option for a track environment it doesn't make a y sense to go that route IMO. This is especially true if you eliminated the cat converter.

That is what I am looking for. I want to look at them and make sure before making any moves. It's not about whose map is better, I just want to be more cautious.

it's one thing to be cautious

it's something else to be hardheaded and not listen
