The evo's are at $600. I didn't check the STI, but they should be making similar gains from the AP.
What I meant was, if it is only the RX-8's AP being dropped in price, are they doing it to get more tuners interested? Their maps obviously aren't of any long-term use, and I don't really see any support from them regarding the car.

Yeah I think they are realizing the potential for more business at a more reasonable price point. The thing for me is that $700+ is a lot of money considering it may be months before you get a decent tune setup on your car and then to only get 10-15HP.

This was a price drop consistent through out all of Cobbs brands for AP, the only one that did not drop was the GTR.
Some were only a $100 price drop others were $200.
All of the following part numbers for factory forced induction vehicles are going from $695 to $595.
AP-MAZ-002
AP-MIT-002
AP-SUB-001
AP-SUB-002
AP-SUB-003
All of the following part numbers for factory normally aspirated vehicles are going from $695 to $495.
AP-HON-001
AP-MAZ-001
AP-NIS-001
AP-NIS-002
AP-NIS-003
AP-NIS-004
As for vendors our pricing discount remains the same with the percentage off the new MSRP price. This royally sucks for anyone that has stock of their units.
I don't know I cannot comment for him, he is welcome to post in this thread.

lol, I'll ship my 8 over to Iraq! ...On second thought...
So the 350z and the Civics dropped as well - then this would be more of a mass marketing move to increase sales. I'm not sure how advertised Cobb is - I've only seen a few ads of them in magazines recently - but this is bound to make them more popular.
