Do you disconnect the Negative cable

during install or not? I read in one of the previous posts that RX8 Friend said that he has not disconnceted the ground wire while installing some units without causing any problems or CEL's. That is what I am looking for NO CEL's. So would you recommend disconnecting the negative battery cable or not? Thanks

You only need to disconnect the one cable illustrated in Canzoomers instructions.

I seen the instructions on the sticky but what I am referring to is RX8 Friend made a comment (Dont shoot me if I am wrong) that he has not disconnected the negative or any battery cable while installing the unit and has not received any CEL's or mishaps. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks

I have installed and uninstalled multiple times and never got a CEL. Just unhook the battery lead closest to the front of the car and you will not get a CEL. Another trick I figured out is that you don't have to undo the wire clip on the top cover nearest the bumper, just unhook the two wire clips to the sensors and the cover will tilt out of the way easily. Hope that it came today lee!
