I've had 2.0 for a few days now... with the previous version I would sometimes see the maps light up in random areas where it shouldn't be. e.g; at idle, sometimes I'd see 6,000 rpm light up.

I would... but it won't do any good until my turbo is installed. I'm taking 2 weeks leave starting next week and I'll do it then. My dad's got the o2 bung welded and the compression pipe tapped for the #2 fix. All I need now is the BOV flange welded... well... and I'd like to have the derwankel gauge pod but I guess I can just have the gauges laying in the void left by taking out the dash piece... for now anyway.

There is now an option for the INNOVATE AF meter under the Front Panel tab under A/F meter. Its range is from 7.35 to 22.39 though. MM your file has 8.50 to 22.40 for your LC-1. Should I sweat it?

You can set up your LC-1/LM-1 to whatever range you want.
I have the range in the EM2 file set up for how I have my LM-1 set up.
They need to match, however you do it.

I am not seeing the option for the Innovate A/F Meter. I see NGK, HKS, Blitz, ect... but not the Innovate. I downloaded the executable and installed 2.0 last night and it said everything completed normally. Any suggestions as to why I don't see the Innovate option?

Never mind. I uninstalled everything then reinstalled it and I can now see the Innovate A/F option.

mikeschaefer, hey bud let me know how it goes with the 2.00 update...i am currently going to tune a base map that I have on my EMU because it is making my car run lean at idle....(15.2-.5)....then it spikes higher than that.....needless to say I took it to a shop and the dumb *** and or myself for taking it there and trusting them with my car .....they said they would tune the car but everything I took it they were like that software that is online does not interact with your EMU. I said beep beep and now I am taking it to a guy that rebuilt a renesis motor and put a greddy turbo kit and tune it to run properly.

Oh yeah, I finally realized that the real solution is a better and far more advance fuel management. Interceptor x is one right now, but anyone have true insight and knowledge of what HKS is running on their HKS RX8?

There is no load on the engine at idle. 15.2 to 15.7 is where my car idles too. Without load, this AFR range is perfectly fine - in fact the leaner it is, the less fuel you're blowing out and wasting.

The EMU should only be activated when it senses pressure over 0 PSI (according to the map settings)

yea a lean idle is rough but a rich one is stinky and wastes gas

can't do much about it with the EMU, that I know about anyway

My idle at 15+ afr was not anymore rough than a stock cars. I think C_RX8 was thinking 15 was out of the "safe" zone, and thus thought it was a problem. It's all good

mysql101, did you sell your EMU? Thanks for all the insight.....by the way, do you still have your BOV recirculated?

THanks a bunch!

I'm in the process of selling it (I have a FS thread in the parts forum). There's no local tuners that do much with EMU that I know of. And Mazsport is less than 30 miles from my house, so interceptor-x was the route I took.

BOV was recirculating, but I took that off once I installed the int-x.

I found a guy that worked on an RX8 back when it was the emanage blue and he got it to run right. Now this guy is going to tune my EMU to fix any LTFT and STFT and any other bugs. He is also going to set it to vent atmospheric. THe only problem I truly had is when it would die when I put it in neutral when I was driving like 30 mph and so forth.....then most of time I come to a halt and it would idle fine then act like it was going to die or stall.......the RPMs was about 900 and then dip to 300 and go back up to 900......Gotta love it though! DO you have this problem right now?

when I set my bov to recirculate, the car quit making the popping noises.

I had a problem with idle for a little while, I think it was caused by a vacuum leak.
