E-tuning Services --- more then just MM ?
So,
I was just curious, but I've been looking around and doing alot research on Accessport I bought, I wish Cobb would still provide support for NA's. It was my first purchase for the 8. I own stock 2007 6pd MT with 30K (newly purchased JAN13)
I know the history and what I think is a "complete story" about MM. I understand he does good work, however it seems his services are a little costly when you don't buy the device for him.
I was on Tri-Point ENG website- noticed they also provided "E-Tuning Service" for $150. Anyone have any opinion or feedback about this service?
E-Tuning Service
Any other companies provide a E-tuning Service?
I was also curious, how many of you RX-8 experts tune your one vehicle and understand the process? would you assist me in creating a couple of maps? fee?
I'm not going to serious mod my vehicle. The only two planned mods I have in mind are TurboXS CBE-RP and 50 shot wet N2O (kit is already in garage from a past project). I would like to use the Accessport get the most bang for the buck out of these two mods + have a MAX MPG map for highway driving.

The only credible tuners I would trust to do a solid tune my car with a Cobb are (in no particular order):
Myself (Well the SARX collaborative of noobs anyway)
Kane
Brettus
Teamrx8
Dannobre
Mazdamaniac
Steve Kan
However, only MM and Steve Kan offers this as a professional service and Steve doesn't do "remote" tuning I don't think. Kane is in the business but he is more interested in developing the PPO2 software and teaching you fish, rather than doing the fishing for you.
The other listed are not in the business of doing tunes for someone else but could do it.

9k does Kane charge to teach? I have been following brettus and kane for a while and they seem to really know the ins and outs. I look at some of the graphs and it looks like chinese to me. I would love to learn to tune.

SARX flew him down for a weekend and he taught us the tuning. You would have to contact him for exact prices but it's very reasonable IMO. His software should be ready soon as well.
