how do you shoot flames out your exhaust pipe?
can it only be done using borla exhaust?
does it hurt the car in any way?
also..im stupid. how do you change your signature on the bottom.

As long as you have a cat and a chambered muffler, the odds of you shooting flames is almost zero. At the very least the cat needs to go.

With an full exhaust it does it a lot more.
I saw it just tonight as I wnt for some road test runs with Broker73, and we were following each other on a back road doing hard runs. On his you just get little blueish short pops. On mine, with the midpipe and Greddy SP2 it is quite a bit more spectacular.

rotarygod,
If you run the car hard for at least five minutes it is actually pretty easy to get some sizable flames from the exhaust. Check it out if you don't believe me.

OBryanRX8,
Borla worked hard to minimize the exhaust resonances found in most aftermarket exhausts and they are slight to non-existant. I think that you would only notice it if you were specifically listening for it.
The Borla provides a tone that is easy to live with on your daily commute (just slightly loader than stock while cruising). Yet it still has a nice growl under full throttle that puts a grin on your face. So I would highly recommend it and the Racing Beat should be very similar in that respect too.

Warm up engine
Get the exhaust red hot by running the car over 6k RPMs for several minutes
Come to a stop or at least keep it under 60 MPH (slower = bigger flames)
Rev it hard (WOT) and lift off on the throttle quickly
INSTANT FLAMES!!!
As you can see, it is not easy to get flames because the conditions have to be perfect to ignite the unburnt fuel. Likewise I have not seen any damage to the paint or body work on the car but your mileage may vary.
