FI stock ECU and MAF relocation

FI stock ECU and MAF relocation
Hi everybody,
Is it possible in FI using the stock ECU to relocate the MAF near the throttle ? As you can see in the photo bellow the MAF is relocated near the throttle but I do not know if stock ECU was used in photo’s set up.
If it is not possible to relocate the MAF near to throttle and use stock ECU (i.e programmed with AccessPort ) what are the disadvantages having the MAF not relocated at throttle position? I mean what problems may arise if MAF is left near the air intake which goes at the turbine.
Thanks

With a maf based system it's usually preferable to have the MAF in a draw-through position in order to have better readings, not the other way around.
I assume that you could tune a blow-by system like the one you pictured as well somehow (I believe MM did it on a procharger install)

what do you mean by draw-through position? Is it the position near the throttle or near the turbo intake? Is it possible to relocate the MAF near the throttle in a FI RX-8 tuned with stock ECU?

Everything is possible but it's common practice to locate it before the compressor (draw-through position). Maf is pretty sensitive to turbulence and having accurate readings is a must in order to have the pcm tuned properly.
However i'm not an expert when it comes to tuning through the stock pcm so you should wait for better replies

Ok this seems fair but in a forced induction RX-8 the air intake temp before the throttle is much different than the air intake temp before the compressor. Why not measuring the real air intake temp?

Some of us do.
