Yeah man it is 38F here and my Z rated tires just aren't holding it down.
I am rolling on the throttle instead of jabbing it and I'm still going screwy.... ah well my tune is good enough that I think I'll do BC and then dyno tune the rest.

Yeah.....since I am leaving in a few weeks for a year it doesn't seem worth the money... but tying my car to a tree is not high on my list too.
The smart move is to stop playing and get it to a dyno now that I know my tune is good enough....
Some days I miss Hawaii.

Nothing mechanical, I just managed to hose my PCM up. So I had to send it to get re-flashed. Assuming nothing hardwarewise is busted I'll have it back Friday. The snow today kinda screwed me anyway since I wanted to start my BC tuning before I went to the dyno.
So as it stands, I'll do the BC tuning this weekend and then get on the dyno early next week. No harm no foul.

Ok, back in business thanks to Chris at Cobb.
In the interest of full disclosure good bad and ugly, an incomplete Flash bricked my PCM. So I called around and ended up talking to Cobb who was willing and able to restage my PCM for a very low rate and do it in a day! How awesome is that?
So I sent it out last night - got the call today that it is done and they will overnight it to me, so I'll be tuning again tomorrow. I went ahead and bought a Cobb, until the Pro Tuner gets the recovery mode working (it is beta now); it wasn't worth the risk to me personally. Because of that they waived my recovery fee! Those guys are cool in my book. So the screen shots will look different for the next round of tuning, but the maps are the same.
I will still log with the Hymee since it really is light years better than Cobb when it comes to logging and real time display - but with me leaving for a year at the end of the month - I wanted to get my car done and dynoed without any more drama.
Thanks Cobb and Chris!!!
