Keep L or Get M Flash with 1.1

I am getting the Canzoomer 1.1 and currently have the L flash. Now I have done some searching and I am unsure should I try and get the M Flash or leave the L as it is? I read that the M will have more low end but less top end. How does the L do with the 1.1 is it better or worse than the M Flash? Thanks

Read up on "How about and update" in this section. It gives some detail.

leegina,
I have had the cz 1.1 unit with the L flash and the M flash. In my case the M is much better! All around. Car is stronger through all ranges and the top end is much smoother. With the "L" I was having some mini hesitations above 7k or so. With M i do not. Car is definatly stronger in the lower rpms also. Canzoomer himself called the L flash "weird". I can tell a big differance between the two. Get the M.

Thanks guys I am waiting for the dealer to call me back to schedule an appointement for the M flash. I got the L about 1.5 months ago and they were hesitant so hopefully not the same runaround this time. Now Service Rep call me in a GOOD mood! Thanks again for the help!

Hey guys,

just hit a 1,000 miles, am taking the car in for her first oil change tomorrow...i've done some research regarding the "M" flash and have found that some of you are experiencing delaers giving you a hard time about administering the flash?...based on the results of the "M Flash i would definitely like to have this done. (silly question) but do i have to justify requesting it from the dealer or are there certain circumstances that need to be met in order to receive this flash?

Because the "M Flash is the most recent flash are they automatically supposed to inform you about it and offer administering it to your car?

The current map for the Stage 1 box is optimized for the "M" flash.
Date of the latest map is May 18.

Print out the TSB on the "M" flash and present it to the dealer if you are worried they will deny you. It clearly states all vehicles should get it regardless what they are in for. What is does is largely fix the flooding issue and improve the mileage.

See "How about an update?" They are quite busy. They did mention that several of you had requested it, but I guess they forgot to give me your e-mail address'. Please understand I can't just send it out to anybody asking. If they ask me to I will send it ASAP. I'll have my computer in the shop tomorrow, so will be able to send it then!

Just sent you a PM with my email, David. Rachael can verify me until Maurice gets back from Taiwan.

Just got my car back from the dealer and i definitely notice a difference after having the flash done....they mentioned that anytime there is a "new" flash they automatically administer it which makes me feel much better....
