Yes it's worth purchasing from MazdaManiac. Get it before it gone.
Did you read this thread?

Teh AP so far to date is the best way to tune. Far superior to any piggy back system.

so MazdaManiac is just a tuner that makes maps for the PORT? are they going to continue making them? so you just pay the 100.00 extra and then you can use the maps that they make? cuz i was looking around and there is a bunch of different NEW and NEWEST soft wear??

Back up slowly and just walk away. Please for the love of god read his Accessport thread. There is tons of good information there from him that answers your questions. Everyone else is just repeating what he says and you will mis-interpret it because you don't yet know what tuning the PCM is all about. Learn that first then start asking questions.

Hardware is to accessport
Software is to programing.
The reason you're paying $100 extra is to have a tune done by someone who has dyno proven results with an overwhelming majority of RX8 accessport users happy with the tune WHILE increasing the reliability of the engine by injecting more oil and kicking on the fans earlier.
how do I know this? Buddy of mine has the MM tune on his RX8 and it makes a big difference in everything.
I saved you searching and probably some humiliation from a lot of people on here who forgot that this forum is a place to ask for help.
Good luck with your modding.

Dude, there are literally novels on this topic. Both the Cobb AP and MazdaManiac...
I wouldn't be surprised if Jeff declines your attempted purchase on the grounds that he knows you'll be a pain in his ***.
