now i can understand that you are only 17 but the fact of the matter is your interceptor is fine and it was tested to be fine. the dealer mechs for the most part are lost. you are lucky to find 2 mechs that are decent in the state. the person you are talking to (scott) is one of the most knowledgable about the electrical system in the car.... infact there is a video on there website on how to install the int-x. you should look at that and tell us what you did differently. did you do the install or did you have mazda do it?
is your warranty now voided?

and yea i watched the video. i did everything exactly like the guy in the video did. except get the car to start haha.
and no my warranty is still good because i had to get a new starter put in it a couple of weeks ago and it was free. they put a new battery in it too. it starts up so fast now, i love it haha.

Yep, though I did not blow any fuses, I read all posts from ppl. who have. Sounds exactly like it.
Congratulations on your purchase my friend. You have purchased yourself a $1500 fuse. Hope it runs well and never gets blown again
I can now see why they let you keep the warranty. After ripping you off they just felt sorry for your ***.
Guess since installing the Int-X is out of question for you now next time, be more patient and careful when modding. Do your homework before puling out the wrenches and ask people who are really knowledgeable. It will save you mucho dollaros.

Just to state the obvious: when you checked fuses, you checked both the main fuse block in the engine bay and the secondary fuse block in the driver's footwell?

Hey guys.
for some reason i can't control my idles anymore.
Meaning, I have the idle rpms set to 820, but it idles at 1060 and will not go lower.
Leaning out or adding fuel doesn't seem to affect the rpm. Except when I lean it out too much it begins to stall out, but that is normal.
what am I missing here?
Oh this started happening after the incident when my map got overridden.
I re-tuned it, and also have no cat now.

The Int-X doesn't control idle. The PCM does. The Int-X only decides how much fuel to give at a particular load (pressure/RPM).
If your idle is high, it is likely that your temp sensor is not being read properly by the PCM.
Two coolant temp sensors on my car went bad in rapid succession while running the Int-X. They are relatively easy to replace, but each was burned to a short (not open), which is highly unusual.
The result was a high idle until it threw the appropriate CEL.

if you mean vac, it is going the shortest route now, with nothing else drawing from it.
taking reading from one of the the nipples on the manifold on the passenger side, and going straight to the Int-X.
What other connectors? the plug wires?

btw, start a thread in the major hp upgrade section... you will get much more input there than in this thread..

What does the Aux_wo map controls?
I can't seem to find any references on it in the manual, but it definitely helps out
when adding fuel to it while running High RPMs in boost.
I just want to know what exactly it does and how it does it.
Also when in boost at around 6PSI and 8K rpm, the car suddenly chokes and produces a jerk. First I thought that I hit the red line, but no, it happens in around 8K and my AFR at the time is like 12.8 - 13
I haven't tried to see what happens after that (whether the engine will continue pulling through after that spot, or not) because I immediately let off the throttle, but I can say that there is no ping or anything, just a hard jerk...
Is this because I am exceeding the fuel system capacity? But it is like 6 PSI, should not be the issue, right?

It allows you to richen the mix at need RPM. Matrix mode does not require this since each load plane has its own curve.

I'll try to fatten it and see how it responds.
I need to resume work on that Matrix Mode Map too.
this "Normal" mode is just too loopy and unstable.
Thanks MM
