NA EMU Tuning
#101
I only have the bomslang harness installed so I dont think there is any spoofing. My aftermarket unit is placed at the exhaust tip after the cat but my cat is supposedly a knightsports highflow cat. Reading from the oem unit tells me I am running very rich. A 12.6:1 on the oem translate to a 13.6:1. Scares the hell out of me.

Update
I was finally satisfy with the tuned I did on the emu. It manage a peak hp of 252 at crank and peak torque of 250nm. Manage to smoothen out the torque curve tremendously. Once I find out how to post a pic I will post up my dyno chart.
My car is currently running on 98 octane petrol. Recently I drove over from singapore to malaysia. In malaysia they only have 97 octane. Using their petrol, my engine ping at high rpms. When I return back, I did a compression test and the reading for both rotors at 300plus rpm is 0.9 on average.
I am gg to send my ecu to knightsports for them to do a remap. Then dyno it and do a comparison. I believe the ks remap should be a safer tune as compared to my tune as all those on remaps did not have their engine pinging on 97 octane.
