New Cobb AccessPort V3
So It looks like all the new features of the next Cobb AP won't be enjoyed by us 8 owners... Which is a shame because It looks pretty sweet... Maybe we can convince them somehow to develop some software...

Well i am sure it will have more storage and a better processor which would mean better things all around. But I I never use to Cobb to view Data so screen size and aesthetics are not really an issue.

Oh, and also if they did make it for ours, it would be half price if you traded in your old AP when buying it. It's $325.00 after trade in for most of them. It sucks for us.

I emailed them asking if they would offer V3's sans base maps. They responded with "No", but suggested a competent tuner with AccessTuner software would be able to build a map on existing maps. Downside- you'd still have to pay full price for the V3 with vehicle specific maps. Worth it? You be the judge. I'm just gonna go with Haltech once my project reaches the necessary level.

^^^ This
Basically, It was just wishful thinking... I use my v2 to monitor temps/AFR's... The v3 is boss at live monitoring and is basically meant to live monitor as opposed to v2...

I was just relaying the very vague response I was given by someone at COBB. And yes, this bump was sort of pointless (or entirely).
