Please help map change on cobb
#2
The map or maps loaded onto it may negatively effect your vehicle depending upon what the map is and what's done to your car.
I would suggest contacting Brettus (forum member here/awesome tuner) to see what he can do with whatever your particular setup and goals are.

The software you need to put any map on it is AccessPort Manager: https://www.cobbtuning.com/products/accessport-manager
As far as actually getting a 2004 map, I would contact Cobb. It's their maps. But, Cobb's maps aren't particularly good, like any map that's not made for any particular vehicle. That's why folks are recommending you get an actual tune.

They should be more or less the same I would guess. But that being said the stage 1 that came on my cobb was downright unacceptable. It was crazy lean above 5k I had to make some pretty large edits to the maps. I think mazdamanic is still doing remote tunes as well.
