Re-Flasher Shootout.........
#282
The AP logger generates a CSV file. It contains any of the CAN outputs plus anything your wide-band of choice can generate over its serial bus.
My LM-1 spits out a ton of real time data and its mixed in with the DLC output.
So, its not all nifty and graphical. Which, of course, is more useful for actually using that data than a dashboard.
The data can be immediately loaded into an Excel spreadsheet for analysis, graphing and comparison.
However, it also has a graphical dashboard that shows the same stuff, so you get both.
I could post up a picture of that if it makes you feel more happy.

Does the LM1 do all the "other" logging? You mentioned the AP spits out only one of the CAN PIDs.
Is the LM1 using other sensors, or the OEM sensors via CAN?
Cheers,
Hymee.

No. The AccessPORT software can log ALL of the CAN PIDs at the same time. Its only the AccessPORT itself that is limited to one display at a time.
The LM-1 has a bunch of aux inputs that can grab whatever, but I only get manifold pressure and ambient temperature that way at the moment.
EDIT - Oh, I see my typo. I deleted the "one" I had put there. Sorry.

I've got them working on other more pressing issues at the moment (like the bugs in the A/T software and the occasional CEL).
It'll probably get turned on in the next month or two.
It already works in the other versions of the software.

Good stuff Jeff.
Nice to see some meat; how does it give fuel? %, Duration or both? I know that it doesn't show the individual ones; I am trying to incorporate it - see my thread for details.

You have the "injector duration" value, but since the injectors are staged, you have no way of knowing what that means.
The fuel tables simply list the desired lambda. You just have to know what will actually come out of the tailpipe when you request that lambda since they are often completely unrelated.

Its an existing feature of the software. However, its disabled right now, but the formal release will have it activated.

oh is this the kind where you can make changes on the fly BUT they revert when the unit is unplugged?

I have the sCANalyzer and it is first-class.
My point is merely that he is taking pot-shots at the existing solution without having anything to show for his own efforts as yet.
Furthermore, he was determined to defend the EFID in the same manner and it is irrational.
Not to mention that the arguments were mostly aimed at me rather than the product which is equally irrational.

You get no feedback, really.

11ms could mean any combination of the three injectors.

It goes back to rules; if there are rules about staging; and I know what they are - then I can work with it no problem. Can you update the software thread with the staging system used by the PCM?
