Resseting the CZ UNIT

Thanks to mazdamaniac i have finally been able to install possibly the 1st CZ unit in an Australian car

Theres a definite improvement in accellaration , smothness right through the rev range. :D

Mybutt dyno tells me around 20 hp gain

After 3 days i noticed that the stock ecu computer has tried to resett itself to its old parameters .

Whats the correct procedure to resett the cz unit ?, is it possible to install an on off switch inside the car to allow easier ressetting ?

I HAVE DONE A SEARCH BUT I AM NOT 100% SURE HOW TO RESETT THE UNIT .

You need to reset the ECU in the car...not the CZ. The ECU will set fuel trims if the CZ is tuning in closed loop areas.

MM had a thread on resetting the ECU................

not sure if the 20 brake taps trick with the car not running and ignition turned to "ON" will reset the ecu of an aussie car. If not, pulling the battery cable should do it.

My guess is if your butt didn't become recalibrated and your car really did learned the settings so quickly, you will need to edit the map and try to blank out things under ~5500 rpms.
