We are constantly working on improvements to the box (and they will be used in "the box", meaning Stage 1 and 2). In fact right now we are testing a new idea to compensate for Mazda's fiddling with maps vs gear (we think they did this for mileage). The changes vs gear caused us to "back off" a little for safety. If this latest idea works it will make it safer for Stage 2 users to get closer to the "edge".

Other than that I don't know what to say. If it were my car I'd just get the standard Stage 1 and the high flow cat and resonator with the programming cable and program. Next would be a wideband O2 sensor. Then as finances permit, get the "Stage 3" display. You would then have "Stage 2" + with the ability to compensate for your altitude, fuel quality, and other flow improvements to your car such as intake.

As for dyno results, I don't know when Maurice will be doing this. Perhaps if the current tests are successful he will then visit the dyno. I'm waiting for one of our many customers to dyno their car and post results. Just seeing what Maurice's car does is rather one-sided. I'd like to see how big the variables from car to car are.

well i would get stage one instead but i have no experience in making maps to change to stage 2 in the future ,it sound to risky for someone who never did it to mess with it thats why i order stage 2 so i would not have play with the ecu myself.
