No, have him do it during break in Is this a serious question? If so, why are you not asking your builder?

the person doing the swap is not doing the tunning. He has swapped out our platform plenty of times but usually with fd motors. Apparently he will not tune our cars but will work with them. Contacting mm is also a hassle

Why does it matter who is doing the actual install? What does that have to do with tuning? Pettit is obviously the expert so why not ask Cam?

All you will get here is opinions, most of which are based off of no personal knowledge with tuning, let alone tuning on a fresh engine.

If it were me, I would wait a few thousand and make sure it is broken in well and has a few oil changes under it's belt. But like I said, Cam will know best.
