*****headlight question*****

I have a question for anyone who checks this out. I had sanded my headlights down to smoke them and once I finished I noticed they were cloudy. How would I go about restoring them back to normal???

Just use a finer sand paper. Like a 1500 to 2000 grit and then some polishing compound. Should look alright after that.
Have you smoked them yet? Save me a hit!

hopefully you didn't use a heavy grit sandpaper...usually you can just buff the sand scratches out

Buy a plastic cleaner & polish

Use this after you fine grit sandpaper them and use the rubbing compound. Finish up with: Meguiars Mirror Glaze #17 plastic cleaner and then Mirror glaze #10 plastic polish.

Boy that was stupid to sand them.

When you apply the VHT NiteShades it says to just clean them and apply that begins to flake off. So I used a 1000 Grit sandpaper and applied the paint. The color looks good but you can't see the cut off line on the HID's anymore. That's why I wanted to bring them back to normal.
