In my previous post I said Peterson's made the LED assembly. I bought it from virgofleet.com but I do not know if it is the best price for the LEDs because I got it awhile back.

Cayn25, how does the leds compare to the stock lighting? Is it brighter, not as bright, or what? You wouldn't happen have to have before and after pics, would ya? Please share if you do, thanks for the info.

So you replaced the whole incandescent housing with a plug and play led array? Seems like a relatively easy procedure, once you get that thing apart. Anything else huge I should know before I dissect my first housing?

To be careful about the cut because the reverse housing is really close to brake light housing. If you don't have a compressor, you might want to hold it upside down while doing the cut or a lot of dust and debris will get inside the housing and it just looks bad. If you want me to post a pic of my first set where I also took out the red lense and you could see where I made my cuts.

I found that they are brighter without the red lense but it just looks better with the lense intact and they are very bright even with the lense. Hope these help
