19 x 10 rear wheel, Roll Rear Wheel Well?

Hey All,

I've got my Tien S-Techs (.07 drop in rear) waiting to be installed but was wondering if anyone had experience with rolling of rear wheel wells?

I've got staggered Racing Hart RS721s. The rear is 19 x 10 nice fat lip on wheel. There is absolutely no rubbing right now and I have heard that the rear wheel well needs to be rolled by a bodyshop for a 10 inch wide rear wheel if the car is lowered. Is this correct for a 19inch or 20 inch only?

I rather roll before I drop the car as I don't want any rub messing up my paint on the rear wheel well. Any guidance would be appreciated from people that have done this.

Thanks

I think the Shinka suspension sits higher than the other models from what I have heard.

Gonna drop first Kel then if problems will go see your guy... the Shinka rides a little higher than other 8's so might not be a problem...

why cant you drop it and decide if you want to roll or not.
when you drop it, there will be more -ve camber, and there maybe enough to clear the rear guards.
if you need to roll it, roll it at the same place where you are dropping it.
simple, problems solved.

now.... another issue...?

how about the inner guard clearance?

what i did is found 3 of my biggest Thug football friends and took them for a ride in wayne hills, I heard the car scrape which made me cut then dropped it,
so first add some weight then go hit some curbs

^yes with Kel on this one. just like chrism's rear dropping a lot lower because of the extra weight from his subs. you gotta get some weight in to see how low the car will get at its max. better yet, do that and then go angle up a driveway. angling is when rubbing may be at its most on one of the rear wheels because it has to tuck when ur slanting.
