2 questions about bodykits I swear not a newb question!
haha I remember I think this was the forum I had my first post in and asked 2 "newb" questions or something along those lines, anyway this is something that I have been thinking about and I don't have the answer anymore ........... First of all do all the body kits that are out lack a screen to go in front of the radiator??? I know this sounds weird but I saw a Mazdaspeed front bumper on an rx-8 the other day and it looked ........ cheap somehow not because of fitment but because of the way it looked like there was a hole in the front, that just doesn't fit right with me for some reason I want a screen at least. The second thing and perhaps the more important question is ......... what does the
"flow" of the kit mean??? For example people will say make sure the kit flows together and I have no idea what they mean, I am not an artistic person so maybe Its that but I don't understand what people are looking for when they say the lines on the car don't match up and so on. Does anyone have a good example of a car that they think flows well and one that doesn't??? Maybe with some MS paint help of pointing out what they are talking about........... either way it's just a few things that have been on my mind because with the new job I know a bodykit is on the way.

What do you mean a hole in front?
And no, most kits do not come with a mesh screen... if that is what you are talking about. But those are easily attainable.
And "flow" or "lines", basically means the kit matches the car well.. Or if someone decides to mix and match a kit, that the components used compliment each other. Some kits have a very smooth and rounded look, some have sharp corners. Wouldn't make sense to mix sharp and smooth together.

flow is where it looks aesthetically good.....the theme of the kit has to go.....sharp with sharp and curve with curve....otherwise it just doesnt look right....as for screens most real kits come with them but the cheap knock offs usually dont....

Flow would also be like..The MS front bumper flows with the MS side skirts. Because they are the same height off the ground. If you get just the MS front bumper, and no side skirts, it doesn't look as good(flow) because the front bumper is alot lower than the sides and it just looks out of place. If the car is the same height off the ground then it looks alot better...Therefore flows better.

yeah what i meant by a hole was where there should of been a mesh screen there wasn't any ...... maybe the kid had a cheap knockoff, it looked like mazdaspeed, but his carbon fiber hood looked pretty ......... I don't know the word but it looked dull.
