IMO far too much going on. Is there a hood out there with just the big vent in the middle (like the one that causes the rotary shape in the hood to curve down? I thought I saw it somewhere on the web, but if they made a hood that just had that vent in it, except further towards the front of the hood I would love to have it.

yes, i cant remember who makes it though.

It looks a lot like the ABflug supra hood to me....

can someone please make a good looking hood for the RX8

this one could be ok IMO if they left the rotor shape OUT

I have been looking at "how to's" on fabricating fiber glass parts, and I can see how anyone can duplicate this hood or create something better. I kinda wish I didn't have a job, so I could start playing with fiber glass fabrication. Hmmm...

if i were to get another hood, it would have a small opening where the intake is.
