Accolade quality is known to be pretty good, I dont have their MS body kit but I do have their Cspec kit, and I have been very pleased with the fitment and quality. From what i understand Accolade owns and maintains a Factory rx8 so they test products standards.. Its this car here:

WE ARE PLANING TO ORGANISE MAZDASPEED VERSION 1 KIT GB SOON AT A PRETTY GOOD PRICE.

BEST PART IS REAR WILL COME AS A COMPLETE BUMPER RATHER THAN A REAR APRON.

SO HOLD ON FOLKS

All the pictures I've seen, even of Accolade's own RX8, the fitment is crap! And customer service sucks.

whats with the capslock accolade? ever single post of yours in in caps. its considered shouting on forums, and for frequent forum posters like me, its quite shocking.

i know this might surprise you, but we can read your posts when they are in lowercase format as well.

I received my Accolade MS kit today. The kit was cracked when i opened the box, but the box was fine.... So did they ship it cracked???

I asked them if the kit would come with mesh grill inserts before i bought it. They told me yes... I did not receive any of them.

I have not installed it but i am VERY disappointed so far. Most likely will be returning it.

This may be FRP, not sure. But I just recieved my V2 front and C-Spec fenders... they are thick, real thick. I dont think there will be a flexing problem like other FRP kits.

And to those claiming fitment sucks, personally I would like to see pictures. I havent installed mine, and it will be a while probably over the winter, but pics are really needed with such comments.

Sorry to hear about your kit JJWASH45. I havent checked for the mesh grille inserts, shame if there is none.

*edit* I just checked mine, all holes have screens.

Well when i ordered the kit. The website says its made of TFF. And if you look at the FAQ page it says the the TFF kits will come in a black color.

My kit is PFRP and is a grey color and it has damage all over it.

When i wrote back they said that the TFF kit costs more than what i paid.. Which is understandable, but the page says its suppose to be TFF and i asked for a quote on TFF so i only paid what they told me to pay.

Im wating on someone to get back to me. In my opinion they should either refund me or exchang my PFRP kit for the TFF kit. I didn't do anything wrong. They quoted me the wrong price and sent me a piece of crap kit. Its not my fault the website is misleading. The web page says nothing about the kit being PFRP.

They most definitely did NOT take care of me. Still waiting on the missing mesh grills months later. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH ACCOLADE. If you want more details feel free to PM me. I have documented email conversations and pictures.

That is accolade for you.
Mazda3forums members have had some bad mishaps with Accolade and they just stopped coming on the forums.
I heard about Lancer people also having trouble with Accolade.
Mazda6club seems to have trouble with them as well.

Search about Accolade on Yahoo! or Google and you can see the complains/whole thread topics/etc about Accolade.

I wouldnt touch anything from Accolade with a 10 yard stick. Just too fishy for my liking. Im sure not everyone gets screwed tho.

But Accolade knows that people are complaining and complaining about their business......... they kind of just ignore the stuff it seems. I remember one user that had such a bad time with Accolade, the whole forum got in it and basically said No to Accolade because it was sooooooooooo dramatic and Accolade wouldnt help the guy and pretended he was dumb.

btw I heard Accolade is not from America. I heard they are from Sri Lanka.
Still does not mean you cannot pull out the lawyer and see what He has to say. I know I would. Body kits are not cheap, I will get what I intended on ordering.

A company cannot say "here is a TFF body kit, 1000 dollars please."
You say "okay, here is 1000 FOR the TFF body kit"
Then send you a different kit.
I think there is a contract there if im correct and if you did your part, they MUST do their part or else it is a breach of contract.

Here is an example:

A material breach is any failure to perform that permits the other party to the contract to either compel performance, or collect damages because of the breach. If the contractor in the above example had been instructed to use copper pipes, and instead used iron pipes which would not last as long as the copper pipes would have, the homeowner can recover the cost of actually correcting the breach - taking out the iron pipes and replacing them with copper pipes.

The Restatement (Second) of Contracts lists the following criteria to determine whether a specific failure constitutes a breach:

In determining whether a failure to render or to offer performance is material, the following circumstances are significant: (a) the extent to which the injured party will be deprived of the benefit which he reasonably expected; (b) the extent to which the injured party can be adequately compensated for the part of that benefit of which he will be deprived; (c) the extent to which the party failing to perform or to offer to perform will suffer forfeiture; (d) the likelihood that the party failing to perform or to offer to perform will cure his failure, taking account of all the circumstances including any reasonable assurances; (e) the extent to which the behavior of the party failing to perform or to offer to perform comports with standards of good faith and fair dealing.

So reading this, i bet you can get your money back or get the TFF body kit with no extra costs because you paid that amount for the TFF body kit specifically.

(lol sry again. im a business law student and i really hate sleezy business)

Thanks a lot I appreciate it. I will see what I can do. But yeah they have stopped responding to my emails completely. I filed a report with the BBB but they just lied to them about the situation. So i think im going to have to take some sort of action.

Yea.
It is your money and you deserve exactly what you intended and were shown you paid for.

I hate hearing about Accolade over and over again and their bad business.
Its a pain in the butt to deal with them, especially since they aren't really American as I hear.

and if Anyone lives in California, maybe you can help this guy out by stopping by and visiting Accolade personally?

1240 E. Locust St. Unit 205 Ontario, California 91761 USA

at least they have a building in America.
