Aerowerks front bumper fittment
#26
It wasn't Aerowerks that made me happy - he just sold the kit. The satisfaction came in with the paint & body shop that did the fit and paint. I never got the impression that the ownership (Key & Peter Hong) of Auto Werks were resistant to my requests for improvement in the rear. Good attitude and very accommodating.
Originally, they were to have the car for 3-5 days. The extra time came in when they refitted the rear - twice. The first fit was awful - and I'm actually surprised they thought it would be OK. But, when I said it WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE, they pleasantly enough agreed to do it again. Two days later, it was better, but not what I thought it should be. So again, they agreed to work on it some more. Never any attitude, and amazingly enough, they also did not request any more money than the originally agreed amount.
I'm lucky in that my RX8 is a weekend car, and it didn't put me in a bad position not to have the car done in the originally promised 3-5 days. I had the luxury of having the time to wait for it to be done to my satisfaction.
