I think people just buy replicas and realize they don't fit perfectly and give up. Then they go say a bunch of negative **** about them.
Honestly you can spend about 600 on a replica set, and even if it fit like crap i doubt it'd cost more than $1500 to have a body shop make it work for you.
That's around $2000 dollars rather than paying $4000 for an authentic set, that's if you can even find it.
Here's a prime example, +all this body work was done in his house.

Yes they're are some replicas that are completely not worth buying at all, but i don't think you have the right to say every single one is just not worth it.

i have been reading through a lot of threads and have come to the conclusion that the only kit worth buying, according to almost everyone is a mazdaspeed kit. the only problem with that is that they no longer are making kits and you will have to find someone selling one. if you find someone selling an authentic kit, you will have to hope they live close in order to pick up because shipping is ridiculous..i guess i will have to buy a kit i like and hope that what i cant get to fit properly, a body shop can. i just think it is next to impossible that ms was the only company selling a good kit and all others are crap..

You just have to know what you're buying, users tend to be happy to buy a stolen design built by a cheap manufacturer that fits like ****...

The manufacturers i mentioned all have good fitment and nice looking bodykits. Vertex and Autoexe both have US distributors (Check Vertex USA on google or Mazmart for AutoExe parts).

@bse50- are you saying my best bet would be to get something from japan? i looked up those companies you suggested and besides a couple of stateside companies selling one or two kits, the majority of them are in japan.

Yep, that's why I put an accent on AutoExe and Vertex. They're both sold in the US and are decent looking\good fitting. Importing a body kit from japan would be fairly expensive.
