Can anyone shed light on the difference in measurement for 2004 rx8 hood vs a 2011 rx8 hood. I am in the market to purchase a new hood and it seems like the series I rx8's have more options than the series II. Is there actually a difference and would a 2004 one fit on my 2011 mazda? If so is there any other parts like the hood that is labeled only for series I but can fit series II?

just wondering, guessing i probably already know the answer but.... how crappy is the quality on the AIT / Extreme Dimensions body parts?
Imagine eating nothing but fiery tacos and drinking milk for a week straight, then sitting on the toilet after that week.
You'd have a better chance fitting the results of that mess on your car and making it look good than an ED body kit...

sounds kinda like what i was expecting to hear, just basing it on the price lol
Has anyone had any experience with any of the duraflex bumpers or the fiberglass reinforced plastics bumpers? i got backed into and would like a different look but would like the flexibility of urethane as i do not want the bumper to crack. any info will be appreciated thanks!
Is there any way a moderator can possibly update the OP for this thread? Almost none of the links to the company sites work. And the most recent update of the kits available is 13 years old. I know I keep coming back to this thread to figure out which kit is which but there are so many new kits I keep seeing that I'm trying to find info on and I can't find anything. For instance this kit is growing on me. But I have no clue who makes it and a reverse image search of these 2 images pulls up nothing on google.
Update: Figured out this kit is the Weber Sports kit. They make a very similar kit for the 370z too. But I feel it gives the rx8 a nice aggressive look while still sticking to the factory lines pretty nicely. Added some more pictures too. Most of the below pictures are for the S2 Rx8, but the first is for the S1. So I'm pretty sure there's an option for it to fit both. It's not a bad price at around 650 for the front bumper without the carbon fiber slats to go in the side vents. And the original site can be found here. http://www.webersports.jp/gallery/ga...4-14916-1.html
I have purchased a couple of fibreglass MS replica bumpers over the last few years. Both had bad fittment and the weak point is around the blinker lights.
The slightest scrape will hairline cracks as there is little give with the material.
I have purchased a genuine MS sitting in my garage and I will get is installed once I get my supercharger kit running.
Bn sports body kit. In haven’t seen any recent rx8s with this kit. I placed an order for $1,600usd for front and side skirts while it was on sale. They run for about $2k+. I will update you all on the process. Purchased from Mastermind imported from Japan 3-4 months
Edit: this is my bn sports front bumper and side skirts. Hit up mastermind_North _America for this kit if you were interested. ~@shxng8
If you dropped a link in the thread, please verify and update if broken. Example from the very first link; Mazdaspeed, https://www.mazda.co.jp/mazdaspeed/
Shine is hit or miss. AutoExe is known to be excellent quality with good fitment.
I'll agree with that about Shine. I had some of their front fenders for my FC back in the day and they looked pretty good but there were some thin spots and they weren't nearly as wide as they marketed them to be.
