I could not get my running lights to match my 8500K HIDs and I got sick of everyone replacing their running lights with white leds, so I decided to do the complete opposite. I installed amber leds, what do you guys think?

 

Interesting idea. Ha ha ... most people try to get rid of the amber. Are they still practical as daytime running lights?

 

i put little blue ones in the place of the stockers.... they are hardly bright at all.... from walmart so what do you expect rite..... i think that yours looks very clean, im guessin you had just turned on your lights judging by the "blueness" of them

 

bluefrenzy- they aren't day time running lights.

Santozrx8- Nope, I changed the stock HID bulbs. That is why they are so blue. Also, I'm pretty sure blue running lights will land you a ticket.

Nice. I put red LEDs in mine. Looks sweet, IMHO.

 

Well in Canada they act as our day time running lights. Not that it really matters on a sunny day.

I think red will land you a ticket faster than blue.

 

How to replace the led lights in the front?? Is it easy to replace?

I think the amber looks good w/HID, but the fogs look off. Maybe change up those so they mesh better? Not sure what to change them too though...

 

I think your going to get a ticket. (I changed to HID fogs so they match better now)

i like the yellow LEDs a lot, im thinkign about the same idea... and rewireing the fogs to come on with the LEDS.. i think im going with the Ion yellow fogs on a red 8, ive always liked the yellow and it will contrast the xenons nicely

 

Irfan, please post pics when you've done your mod. I'm curious as to how it would look. I went with the crowd and personal desire and did all extremem white on lights, but I'm thinking it wouldn't look too bad with yellow!

 

i think it looks great and i have to agree, it makes your car look angry.

 

the red lights look awesome
nice for a car show or something but you won't make it a week on the street without a ticket
