Another way to color your emblems...
To make a long story short, I have an RC truck and the chrome on the wheels is chipping off, so instead of wasting money and having them "rechromed" I was doing some looking on the web and found a video on how to remove chrome...sorry he kind of talks alot

But they also have a video on how to dye the plastic. They are saying that it is better than paint because if you chip it, it remains the dyed color and I would assume that it's more permanent than just scuffing and painting. The only thing I could see is the lack of UV protectant (Clear coat) might not be good. Here's the how to on dying plastic...

Anyways, I thought that I would share this with you guys. If you do use this method please let me know if it works on your emblems. I will be doing this with my RC truck wheels but I'm still not sure if I want to bother doing this with my car's emblems.
