Anyone buy their strakes from ebay?

I'm looking to buy some strakes for my 8 and I was wondering if anyone has bought the ones off ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

I remember someone posted pictures of their 8 with these strakes on their winning blue and they looked great. He has all positive feedback and a lot of people with 8's have bought from him so far.

Anyone buy from him and how fast was shipping knowing that he's from the UK? Around how much was the final cost with shipping?

Also, how is the installation on these? Will these damage the paint or is there rubber padding for when it touches the car like the newer models.

If anyone has pictures of these installed, that'd be great!

Have a look on www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk as there's lots of people over here that have them and swear by them - we've had a lot of problems with the mazda ones corroding, and after a couple of replacements people have swapped over to these.

I'm thinking about buying them, they're stainless, they'll last for ever.

Just bought a set from Howard gentleman on ebay. Product arrived in less than a week and looks really good. Yet to install.

I have Howard's strakes. Install was a cinch and I absolutely love them. The stainless steel should last longer than the material in the OEMs, and I think they look better too, especially since my rims are chrome.

strakes

I bought mine from Howard on ebay about a month ago, arrived in 10 days (I am in Canada), and they are great quality. Also got the front crest. The strakes were easy to put on once you get the vent off, about half and hour for both sides. Definitely reccommend them, they look great.

Got mine from Howard 4 days ago... excellent product, especially when compaired to the ones Mazda is offering (are you listening Mazda? $200.00?????) Price was very extremely reasonable especially considering the quality of the strakes. There is another seller on EBay that sells the painted strakes. Haven't heard much about them, but they are about half the price of Howards, but are plastic (metal looks better IMHO).

I got those....they're great.

shipping took about a week...I think it was about 130 with shipping

install is easy, and it has the double sided tape to protect the paint and stick in in place al ittle better
