Appearance Package/Front Mud Guards

Does anyone have any pictures of the Appearance Package w/Front Mud Guards? If not, what is the consensus of the look with or without the front mud guards along w/ the Appearancer Package? I have the Appearance Pacakge and I am considering the front mud guards, but don't want to waste my money. Thanks. Also a good picture with the MS b-pillar appliques would be nice.

This one was just posted. I've seen one other here, but can't remember where.

I don't mind it, but I prefer just the appearance package.

I think a search should pull up quite a few B-pillar pics.

Here's another (and it's better 'cause it's Yellow!); scroll down to #8.

I have a black rx8 with appearance package and installed a set of mud flaps on it shortly after my first few mud puddles.......looks good! I was a bit worried as well, but after installing them I am glad I did it. They blend in well with the appearance package. Most think they are part of the package. I would send you a picture, but my car is in storage until March or so

I believe I was the first to try this combination. I love it! See here. Also for the B-pillars look here (bottom pic).

After re-reading this thread, I did not link to a "good picture" of the B-pillar and plus, it's not the MS one, it's the RX-8 one.

Thanks for the input, especially the pictures of the Red 8s. Mine is Red and I'm undecided. I will have to think about it for a while and as for the MS B-pillar I still can't find a good picture. This includes the MS website which says no picture available.

I had the JDM b-pillar installed, I think they look better than the MS one. Hope this help.

Where do I find JDM b-pillars? Is there a web site? I may be mistaken but they look identical to the standard RX8 b-pillars.

How are the front mud guards w/speed bumps? I notice they look lower than the rest of the appearance package. This will definately be even more of a consideration if and when I modify thew suspension.

I have the Racing Beat springs, which lowered my car approximately .75" in the rear and .6" in the front and I have no problems at all clearing speedbumps. I know what you mean....I was worried about the same clearance problems when I installed the front mud guards. You should get them. They give the car a more complete profile and more aggressive stance with the rest of the appearance package. You should try some Eyelids too.

I have heard about the eye lids, where can I find them? Also do they match the color?

You can also find some on the Vividracing website.

Front Mud Guards

I just installed my front guards. I think they complete the overall look of the appearance package. Love it. I got mine after seeing Pete's yellow beast.
