Right on Japan8, there is a number on that page. If it's not to hard for you can you give them a call and ask them if anyone in the US sells the kit, oh and ask them what wheels are on that 8.

You da man!

PS: by the way did the scanner get there yet?

That is basically my plan. There is a number in both the ad and on the article page. The only problem is work is so busy, that I am not sure if I can call during the day. I can try Sat. but no guarantee that they place will be open. Well either way, I'll work something out.

The scanner hasn't arrived as of this morning. I'll be able to check again once I get home.

You're a lucky man... The rims are Traffic Star made by Riverside. The Au-to Bahn kit is made by Au-to Bahn Sports themselves in Osaka. They can directly export the kit to you if you wish (but none of them speak English). They don't have any regular shippers/export/importers for their kit... However they are VERY interested in trying to export their kit to the US...

I've got the number for Riverside from them, so I will be giving them a call tonight or tomorrow to find out about the price and companies that carry the rims.

For everyone out there... my contact with Ohara from Rmagic via email has sucked. He's slow to respond and rude. The guy I talked to at Au-to Bahn Sports was very nice and helpful. Guess who'd get my money...

I believe you are incorrect. The opening appears to come down pretty far... definitely better than MS or INGS.

The maker is also very interested in US sales, and I'd imagine that something like this wouldn't be an issue...

Outlaws Extreme... no problem. More to come on the rims...

If they need somewhere to warehouse the bumpers on consignment and in the east coast, I volunteer for the price of one bumper

I would suggest also like Japan8 has mentioned in the past for people interested in this kit and others over there to PM odave. He is fast to return emails and is very helpful and willing to get anyone a kit or pieces of kits sent to you. I have contacted him many times on different kits and each time he has responded within 24 hours and is always willing to help and appears to have good prices. I have yet to buy anything from him yet but if I had the cash to buy this kit he would have my money in a heartbeat. His username on this forum is odave. Thanks

In So Cali at least, my insurance is saying that if I modify the front, and take out the rebar, it will not be covered under the insurance. I asked because I told them if I got a new front bumper, would I be able to get that insured. They said that is fine, but if I changed any of the safety requirements regarding airbag, rebar, etc etc... and I get into an accident, they will not be covering it. Hmmm... Insurance vs. New bumper. I think insurance wins.

Japan8, sounds like another "opportunity" for you to arrange a group buy. Maybe you can go into this full time for us? :D

Thanks for the nice comments Leegina =)

Japan8, if you ever need low cost shipping to the U.S. and handle drop shipments for your groupbuys let me know. We can consolidate your shipment with ours and lower the group buy costs for everyone

Thanks for the offer odave. I think it'll be handy if I end up doing big ticket items like a bodykit...

BTW... gcar76 the scanner is in my hands. Once I have a little time, I'll install the drivers and see if there are a few things to put up for everyone. Can't let EAST MOON take all the spotlight.

Hey Jourdan, I've been jealous of those great magazines ever since we met back in February. I am
all over this kit as soon as there's a discounted rate on shipping or purchase. Outstanding.

Hey Tony... I guess I will check into this and see...

Omicron, looks like you were right. Once I have the basic info/data together, I'll shoot you and Ryan a PM and email about a group buy.

NOTE: My time is signficantly less than before so it will take me a little while (a couple weeks) to get things together. So please be patient.

NOTE2: This kit (like 98% of kits) is FRP... fiberglass. I hope that this isn't a problem for those interested.

This bodykit is actually pretty decent compared to some others I've seen *cough cough* Veilside, NRF, etc. I don't like bodykits that drastically change the overall appearance, but I "guess" I could deal with this. It's very subtle, and that's what I like. I'd rather have the KS Auto Burnout kit though, because of its overall simplicity and ability to keep the factory lines.

Personally I don't like the front lip of the KS Burnout kit... lacks in personality. Kei Office or RMagic has a better looking lip IMHO. The Leg Motorsports lip isn't bad either.

I forgot about the other Japanese aftermarket companies. I just want a lip spoiler that isn't the Mazda factory option. Thank you for the reminder Japan8 .

No problem. I just like to see everyone keep their options open. :D

Sportec Design makes a CF replica of the appearance package lip and Style King's kit is pretty sharp too...
