I think it is just a personal preference in style... and I give 10/10 for the MS kit.
In Australia we are waiting for Mazda Australia brings in the kit - like in the US. You know why? The Australia insurance companies allow you to have unlimited mods as long as the dealer put it in their option list.
Otherwise it will either be very expensive to insure or they do not insure you at all.
So ... if Mazda Australia have the whole range of MazdaSpeed stuff - like yours - I can get a MazdaSpeed RX-8 (fully optionized) and insure it with stock RX-8 premium...
Yes, some Australians are (kind of) simple.
