Hey guys I am about to order a new bumper since my current Autoexe SE-02 Replica doesn't fit that great and is starting to crack. I am most likely going to be just replacing it with the same thing, but I am also considering the Autobahn one. Does anyone know what an Autobahn looks like with Mazdaspeed sides? So anyways, I am looking for your opinion as to which I should get since I still do really like mine and it is unique. Thanks.

real autoexe is one of the best kits you can get.

 

Yeah, I was considering it, but it looks odd from the side and I think I like mine better.

 

I aggree for as much as I was excited when I first saw the new SE-03C after hard consideration and a critical eye, I too started to not like the look of it from certain angles, I love how it integrated the 09 fogs and the side vents are wonderfully sculpted but at some angles its just too happy...
Nevere been a fan of the SE-03, and the Autobahn is way to simple and detracts from the clean lines of the 8...
The SE-02 is one of my favorites, I would go with the authentic... I'MDanomite had the authentic and loved it, I also like the Vertex, but sometimes its too much,,,
Recently the Panspeed has grown on me, its clean and simple, roughly the same front as factory but with integrated shin spoiler....
RMagics was one of my favs, but now only looks good with the extremely expensive over-splitter
the FEED is rare in the states and pretty good looking
You can never go wrong with RE Amemiya, and Knights sports is really nice too...
uuuuuhh yeah see why I cant decide either...

i say autoexe cause i have the autobahn and its so ugly that no one should put it on their rx8...okay so really i just dont like the popularity the kit has gained, for a while there werent many people on here and now it seems that everyone is getting it. honestly i think the autobahn looks better than any kit on the market. here is a link to a recent photoshoot with my 8 if you want to get a better idea of what the front looks like

I got my kit including paint for free with my car since the previous owner didn't want it. I don't know who made it, but through research, I believe Shine Auto is the only one who makes replicas of Autoexe kits, so it most likely is from them. Unfortunately, the quality is not very good at all which is why I am getting the authentic. My fitment was horrible before I spent hours trying to make it look better which it does, just not as good as an OEM fit. Mine has been cracking and their are also weaves in the bumper due to a crappy mold. Search for Mazdaexe's threads on the Autoexe kit since he has the same one and it definately was from Shine. He didn't seem very happy with it and needed a lot of work to get it close to right. For me if I were to have bought the bumper originally, I would never even consider a replica due to crap quality and fitment. If you want the best get an Authentic as installation will be a breeze and quality will be top notch.

They usually have good quality,,,
It could be someone elses replica, they are not the only one, just the best known,,,

 

Possibly. I just haven't seen any other replica Autoexe's except Shine. Mazdaexe wasn't too happy with Shine's quality on his though.

Oh yeah, what jedi said.....Auto-Bahn, hands down, the better of the two. I have the Ings kit and love the lower lip of the (bahn)..........

 

I will probably get the Autoexe, but am now very interested in seeing what the Vertex would look like in Titanium Gray. Do you have any pics?
