AutoExe CF Splitter kit - Installed/pictures

I went and saw the nice people at Corksport yesterday and they installed the AutoExe CF kit for me. It fits great and it's nice to see the attention to detail that they put into it: most notably the gasket/seal on the side skirts that protect the paint from the skirt rubbing up against it. Nice action.

Here are some pictures I took this morning after washing it really quickly. I was afraid it was going to rain soon so the lighting and whatnot is not ideal. It's now sort of getting sunny out so I'll try to get a few more pictures and post them later this evening.

This kit looks better on the car than it did in any of the pictures I'd seen online. I'm very pleased with this purchase/decision. Now I'd like to drop the nose down a bit and stick some Volks on it.

and more.

This is the damage from the recent hit-and-run that some "nice" person did to me in a parking lot. It goes into the body show in two weeks to get fixed. Body shops are booked way out right now around here due to all the snow and ice we had a few weeks ago.

Very nice!

I was thinking of ordering a kit for my white RX8 but wasn't sure how the back looks. The pictures obviously don't do it any justice but how would you rate the look of it?

From the pictures that I saw before the front lip but especially the back lip looked like they stuck out too much and didn't compliment the body lines too much.

Right on. Thanks guys.

Yesterday it was overcast hence the lack of light. If it's sunny today I'll get some better pictures. After looking back at the above it's painfully obvious that more light is necessary to fully appreciate what it looks like.

The whole kit looks better in person that it does in any of the pictures I've seen. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I like. I think this kit only looks best with white of maybe yellow. Wheels with an aggressive stance are a must now.

I would also consider the carbon fiber fender inserts to tie the whole thing together.

The carbon fiber looks killer.

Did you have the appereance package before the new pieces? Are they for sale by any chance? I'm interested if you have them.

And then the sun came out. So I took a few pictures on the way home from dyno day in the NW.

I'll take requests on any other shots people want to see of this kit if there is interest. I still think it looks better in person than it does in photos but whatever. That's most likely due to my lack of mad photography skillz.

Absolutely. I'm trying to decide on how wide I want to go and what style to get. I rather fancy several of the Volks but the Advan Model 5 in gun metal is still calling me.

Most likely a bit in the front. I've been contemplating which suspension kit to get for a while now. I've seen very favorable reviews of the full Mazdaspeed suspension but I also realize that there are tons of other options. I don't want to lower the whole car too terribly much or else I won't be able to get into my driveway without scraping. And that would suck.

I've been looking at those for a while. Still on the fence about whether or not I'm going to order them.

Sorry, I do not. Corksport may have taken pictures of it when they got it in. You might email them.
