tanabe, tein, rb and eibach are all good choices

they're all probably in the $200-300 range for a nice set

should i look for just springs or coilovers? i know a bit about cars in general but not a whole lot about suping them up. i am looking forward to working and learning with my 8 as soon as i can.

if you are just looking to drop it then springs would probably be easier and more cost effective. so far i am happy with my basics but i'm just getting used to the increased ride stiffness they bring

coilovers are nice especially if you want adjustability but if you just want the look then go for the springs

Just like what the other people said, good coilovers are about $1k or more. Springs are more for looks. I would just use the rest to save up for a kit or rims. What color are you looking to get?

i was looking at either VR mica or the brilliant black. cant decide, but what it truly comes down to is what the dealer has when i get to it. when you buy used you have to go with what they got for you...
