Yeah, I can get this red shimmer stuff and spray that over the head lights after I re-smoke them... that would be kinda cool... Haha maybe.

That looks great... I'll share a secret with you though... 10 times as easy to use "VHT Nightshade"
looks exactly the same... and consists of wiping down the light and spraying on 2 to 3 even coats... heres a pic of my old car with VHT
http://a223.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...dfb5fee676.jpg

Works veeery well.

No sanding no nothing... Just make sure they're clean...

Oh... And That license plate is way past expired and in a trashcan somewhere in Tulsa Oklahoma.

How long does it stay on and does it ever start to look crappy over time?

I have been thinking about the yellow too. Not because its race, but because i think it looks good. Sure, race cars might have it, so what. Have you seen it on VR? Im really contemplating doing it.

Thanks, I figured why spend over 90 doll hairs on a set of eyelids, then pay to have them painted when I can just use some left over paint the body shop gave me and do them for free...ish.
But I picked up most of the black out stuff at an art store, its basically just ink and hardener. nothing special but so far it last and last..

I used VHT night shade spray paint on all of my past cars.

I think theyre the best spray for blacking out or giving it a nice tint to your lights because the transparancy is really clear, not cloudy. and you dont need to clear coat since the finish is pretty glossy.

My last cars taillight still looked fine after 3 years till I sold it.

I found mine on ebay for around 20 bucks along time ago, theres also a japanese brand thats just as good, just dont buy spray cans that look homemade because it sparyed like a wet fart :P

I will try to find these stuffs you talking about. does come in a can or bottle so that I dont have to use a spray gun(which I dont have) to spray it. also, does I have to sand it fiirst...

They're in chrome color spary cans, "with a picture of a guy with shades". I just checked ebay and couldnt find the exact one, although there is a "different" packaged vht night shade which I have "never" used.

I sanded the plastic lens with the finest grit wet sandpaper so that your pretty much scraping off any dirt or grease particles which, and so the paint will stick better.

Heres the exact one that I used. Not sure about the ones that are one ebay although its the same company, someone can try it and see.

but anyways I found a great diy from the 6 forum. He uses the "exact" nightshade spray that I used and he even clearcoated to give it a really clean finish and it looks way too awsome. (I'll probrably follow this DIY from now on) Credits to the guy.
