It really is sexy as hell, I wasn't sure when I got it because I had never seen another 8 with it, but I bought it on a whim and it turned out awesome.

I am so f*cking pissed off right now. I had to take my car back to the Russell Body shop last night to drop it off so they could install the front grill they forgot to install when they put the bumper on. I had been willing to forgive them the lapse because the fitment was so great and the paint matched perfectly. When I went to pick the car up this evening, leaving work early for the second time in two days to slog through rush hour traffic to get to the shop I found the car was not in a state I could pick it up. The bumper was on, but was very badly fitted back to the car. The grill was on but the edges of the bumper were raised and overlapping panels of the car. It looked like a 12 year old had put it on. The front splash guards were on, but they had also somehow managed to cut a long scratch down one of my rear aero flares and into the side skirt of the car through the paint. Suffice to say I am livid. I had to leave the car there for them to fix and have to drive out there AGAIN tomorrow.

they probably tried to cut the rock guard while it was still on the car. i wouldn't leave until it is all fixed, but it sucks you have to wait longer.
similar thing happened to me when i went to pick up my Vertex spoiler. someone had placed it on a shelf before the paint cured and it made waves. i had "my guy" re-paint it, but it was worth the wait to have it done right.

Its just so goddamn annoying... I was really psyched to go driving this evening and finally having all the body work done. I know they can do good work there, the original fitment was perfect, but it looks like someone half-assed the re-install.

Alright, splash guards are on, scratch painted, vent replaced, bumper fixed, grill installed, tint dryed... the car looks unbelievable, so of course the sky turns black and starts raining on me. Also I accidentially left my camera with my friend on Sunday so no pics yet. I'll try and get some pics soon though with the whole car sorted. I'm not 100% sold on the grill, its just so.... silver... but its growing on me.

aaron it seems that shop has 1 random dumbass and the rest are fine. when i dropped off my car to get the bumper replaced i found it in pieces sitting on the lot with all the wiring exposed and such. i was about as livid as you were that they had not touched the car in 5 days and wasted my time coming out there.
they do good work its just a crap shoot it seems.

The tsunami front bumper in red sort of reminds me a ferrari f430 or 360, save perhaps for those protuberances around the apertures for the air intake. They need to get rid of those for a sleek aerodynamic design. Looks pretty good nonetheless.
