Brake Caliper Color Opinion
My car is right behind me on jack stands. Currently cleaning the engine bay. In a couple of hours im going to paint the calipers, rotor center hubs, and the rotor heat shield. Everything pertaining to the rotors is going to be black.
Here is the question. I have a VR. I bought red caliper paint 500F. I see red everywhere though.
I just came across Gold 900F caliper paint and i know gold goes great with red. What are your opinions. Stick with red or go for the gold?
Quick responses would be awesome considering i only have today to do this as i need to drive around all next week. Thanks in advance guys. When im done i will post pictures of the whole trip through.

Seriously I think gold would be awesome. Kinda of like an ironman theme. If you think it looks nice just do it and don't be so concerned with what someone on a forum thinks of your car. Anyway just my two lincolns.

I painted them red...lol. By the time i got replies they were already in the process. I also painted the inside rotor hubs and heat shields black. I had a problem removing the front rotors... the two screws holding them on were so ******* frozen (they were never removed before and they have been sitting tight for 6.5 years) that one screw stripped on both rotors. One of the two came off... but they ******* stripped. I dont have an "easy out" drill thingy to get it out so i have to bring it to a shop and have them remove it. What a day lol.
I havent put the wheels back on yet or re-assembled the brakes. I was too busy putting my airbox back together and and other engine bay covers on except the actual engine cover. I painted the strut brace and that aluminum sunroof glass deflector thing. I will have pics up later this week. I have like 874938790403 pix of the whole process. Tomorrow i will re-assemble brakes, wax wheels, complete detail the car while it is still on jacks. This means claybar, two coats of wax, clean wheel wells, door jams, interior wipe and mothers leather treatment amazingness. I also got myself some RainX wipers and hope they work the way they r supposed to. If not i will try that spray RainX thingy. Im sure waxing windows will give the same effect though.
Ok well im off to sleep. Got another early morning with a lot of work to do then nap time then midnight shift lol. Thanks for the replies. Later.
