Hard to tell.

If you're marketing body kits, I think black is one of the worse colors to use. I am having a hard time seeing any of the details on the kit.

It appears to be a Lamborghini Murcielago front-end. IMO, anything Lamborghini-related is too boxy for the RX-8's rounded look. But, it's nice there is just one more bodykit option for the SE3P .

How does this bodykit fare during high-speed driving? From the looks of it, sans the small duct on the lip spoiler, the front valence completely blocks the radiator, or impending FMIC. I believe it would be a good idea to guide the incoming air through the ducts for proper cooling. But, it may prove insufficient; the incoming air may only cool the sides, and not the entire area of the heat exchanger(s). I'm not sure. Perhaps posting some engine bay pics?

There is enough Air.....

the original front is also closed in the middle. The Air comes thru the spoiler lip duct. The 2 side ducts are on the stock front just for the oil-coolers.

My spoiler lip duct is smaller but broadly then stock. The side ducts are bigger and near to the middle as i can lead the air with the inside mounted air diffusor to the radiator. It works!

And we have also a radiator fan!

I have testet the car! We drive faster then you in the USA!We have Germany near Switzerland (20min.)! No speed limit on AUTOBAHN (HIGHWAY)!!!! :D

Thanks!

I had completely forgotten about that faux grille on the stock front-end :o. I think it's a nice design, especially for the oil coolers (does Europe also have twin oil coolers?).

Thanks for the "Nice design"!!!

I think the others has all the same looking...with the 3 air ducts...some are bigger than stock and thats it! To many have the MAZDASPEED....is like stock! Here in Switzerland, I`m the only one who has a complete Bodykit on the RX-8 with the 19inch 3-piece LEONHARDIRITT rims.

Yes, the have 2 oil coolers. Mine is a COSMO....it`s the expensive version with XENON headlights. You do also not have the rear fog lamp in the USA? Is that right?
Wich RX-8 has no twin oil coolers??? The 193HP version??

I don't think he can list the price here w/o doing the vendor thing. So, I would suggest not doing it.

2) Please answer my questions in my previous post

3) Not being a dick but from a CONSUMER's stand point those prices are outrageous........

4) Just a note to you, we get the Mazdaspeed front in the US for ~$1150 PAINTED

Just wanted to highlight the front end a bit, I did a bit of photoshopping to be able to see some of the details. This is NOT an exact detail as the photos are hard to work with for detailing purposes. And, I love those sites that won't let you download the photos.

I think it's nice looking is in the order lf some of the other front ends minus the center grille, and if one wishes, would look pretty good on the front end. For me, I still like the center grille, it defines the RX-8.

mmM..it looks weird..i think we all neeed more pics of it where we can see most of the details of the kit. from a far look and from a really close look. its not visible enough to see the entire look of the kit and the car.

It is growing on me but I would really worry about the cooling especially here in Texas!

I like the look, the only concern I have is the FLAT front, it's not very friendly to aerodynamics.
But over all nice.

Aerodynamics I don't know. But there is no central air tunnel for the radiator. It will overheat the car as there is no flow in the centre part. Don't try to tell me the side ones can compensate!

I don't like this at all. "Rice" - as it reduces performace and did not consider the weakness of a rotary engine, which is overheating.

BTW I Love the background of your site. Do you have a picture of that in colour?

I don't like it.
its a bad example of gluing together other parts to make a quick kit. the middle looks like they have cut a hole and filled it with a flat board.

No overheat....i don`t wanna KILL my Baby!!!
Mr. TAKA....... What performance are you doing with your stock RX-8????

You can see soon a Car with 12 Zyl. central engine (450WHp with 0,3 bar VORTECH/Stage 1) on my website that had overheat problem....with stock air ducts....we solved the problem just with a stronger FAN on each site! No bigger air ducts, no bigger radiators?!? You can have the biggest air duct you want, when you will stay in a back-up (rush hour) your head goes UP....more then you will make when you drive the highway with over 130mile/h as i do every sunny w-end!

For every engine....if rotary or not....if you don`t have a enough big radiator with enough strong fan...you will have in some standing situations the overheat problem. Yor Fan on the Rx-8 will start automatically when you will stay some minutes! Or did yor fan never run??

I checked the heat before changing the front......still the same measured values! By driving or standing!

Wich background you mean?

Thanks for your opinion.
