Broken Rear Light Plastic Cover!

hey everyone...a big lesson i learned TODAY....dont close your trunk too hard...cuz the edge of the trunk lid will dip down and crack ur clear plastic on the rear light...anyone can relate? or suggest places i can get it fixed/replaced?

Take it to the dealer. Its a known problem and there is a TSB covering it.

when they say damaged in the tsb...does it include "cracked" as in my case?...cuz the repair procedure doesnt seem like its of any use to a cracked one...as opposed to a minor abrasion or wat not. And mines an 05 model...what do u think? i have chance?

if yours is an 05 car then the dealer should fix it under warranty. Closing your trunk (hard or not) cannot be classified as an abuse IMO.
