Buying new Lights and accessories for my 8
I have looked at the website rotaryfx.com for a while and picked out lights that I wanted to add to my car, mainly high power LEDs for the tail lights, side markers and on the inside... I was just curious of the quality of the lights and website and if I should look elsewhere.... Everything was just conveniently placed on the site

I haven't used RotaryFX LEDs personally, so I'll let others chime in about the quality. I use V-LEDS bulbs and love them. Quality is great and they are VERY bright. Click the link under my sig picture for pics and links to all the bulbs I use.

Ya I've already read all ur posts and am amazed by the quality of the light an am searching now... I'm a little confused though as to what lights to look for because I don't wanna get ones that won't fit.... Also, did u have to do any electric work other than just replacing the bulb for your car??? It looks great

Well I've seen the bulbs he got but that doesn't help me because I'm not gonna get the same exact as him, lol.... I just wanna make sure I don't buy something that doesn't fit... And I've heard the same thing too so I'm staying away from them and looking at v-leds

Aipex, how do I know if I need a resistor when buying LEDs and if the color will match?? Also, I don't know much about electricity an wiring stuff so should I not attempt to upgrade my lights, idk if itll be too confusing?? I want a red interior lights but don't know how to install them and wire em so they come on at certain points

You only need a resistor with leds on lights that blink. such as turn signals.
Your brake lights etc will just be plug and play the only wiring you would have to do is adding extra lights(fourth brake light or footwell lights etc). if you want them to come on at a certain point you need to find something that only powers on at the same time and just tap into there.
Positaps are awesome for Tapping into other connections etc. but for straight connections I like to crimp pretty much everything.

Ok thx, I wanted to put in footwell lights and will probably need some direction for how to install them, but that's for a different thread... Anyways, if I looked at 6k LEDs and at 6K HIDS for my front would they match closely in color??? Also, I was wondering how u (Aipex) liked your amber lights for the side markers because I have the amber side marker and was gonna get brighter amber lights to match it

Alright Aipex... I was going to buy new tail lights for my 8 and realized that the previous owner had drilled a hole into the light to 'fix the problem'. My back right tail light condenses pretty much every time it rains and I live in New England so the weather here is pretty bad at times. You can notice that the reflective aluminum or w/e it is in the right light has tarnished and isnt as bright as the left one. I called mazda and a new replacement tail light is $200 something dollars, which kinda sux... I was wondering if I should probably just man up and buy the new tail light so and then buy the lights I was looking at at V-LEDs?

Do you work for v-leds or get some discount for representing them on this forum?
