Carbon fiber craze...
As some of you know my car was recently hit by a huge hail storm. Now Im in the middle of fixing/replacing. I decided to replace as much parts in carbon fiber as possible. as it is cheaper than oem + paint.
Im looking at:
Seibon Carbon fiber hood (not sure what style yet)
Seibon rear doors (yea im taking that leap)
Seibon Trunk
Not sure if I want carbon fenders... still an option, since its about the same price as oem.
+ i still gotta fix driver door, quarter panel, roof.
Any suggestions on what hood I should get? i can get my hands on the Seibon TT-style for 600 bucks, or I could get the OEM one. Any pictures of the TT hood?
As for the rear doors, i dont think anyone on here has done it. I think it could be interesting. Though lots of people say its not safe if impacted. I rarely have people in the back seats so it should be alright. Thats another reason why Im not getting front doors in carbon.
Any comments or suggestions before I throw in my order would be great!

Just do the hood and trunk. Anything else looks stupid and overdone, if you ask me. I think there's one user that had his rear doors painted black. It really doesn't look good. It looks like an unfinished car.
I personally like the TSII as far as Seibon hoods go. They're all well-made so it's all about personal preference.

Good point on the 'unfinished' look. but im planning on finishing my project of vinyling my car matte black. It was 1/4 started until the hail hit. I had the hood, roof, trunk vinyled. So if I do finish the plan it will be matte black with carbon fiber doors (sounds like a good idea, if not I could always vinyl it too)
Another reason for the carbon fiber doors is because the OEM rear door shell costs 700 bucks. After paint and such it would be close to 1100-1200. While I can get the carbon doors at 1450 a pair :O
