That looks downright amazing. I'd be down for this if you had this made into a group buy.

got an email back from my contact. he said it took 30mins for the first prototype flying M. he said it looks sick, they froze it last night and are baking it in 100 degree weather today to see how it holds up...he said he will send pics soon and ill update when he does!

they are weather testing these for a week before they will start selling/shipping.

i need a count of how many people want to buy roughly! hopefully more than just 5 of you or so :p

DIY kit = 15bucks
From them with brand new emblem = 75~
they won't let us ship them our current emblems.

i'll have to wait til i get home to see those last pics, but the FLYING M in CF sounds AWESOME too!!

i have one issue though...i don't have the emblem in my front bumper (aftermarket). are the front emblem and rear emblem the same size??? if not, will they do both (so i can buy the trunk emblem)?

Looks good, I wonder if they are using 3M wrap. Most other will fade and look like **** after a month or two.

thats why they are doing extreme weather condition testing to make sure it keeps looking good. idk what they used he said its a $1600 roll of stuff that has the CF look or w/e.

Nice man, yeah ask them to make sure the design/DIY is different from a Series 1 and 2, the emblem is bigger on a S2 bumper and more surrounded than the S1 bumper where the emblem just sticks out...

And are you going to make different sizes for the Front and Rear emblems as well? Possilby the RX-8 emblem and Mazda emblem? Im curious to see if this would just look weird with the front emblem covered in CF...

and get some new parking lights Scott... Stock= ewww

huh?... why not just take your emblem off, buy a scrap of 3m Di-Noc carbon fiber on ebay for like 5 bucks, use a hair dryer and apply it to the emblem. I mean, I guess a DIY kit is a good idea, but im sure thats all it is. I wrapped a bunch of parts in my 8 with the stuff, and it looks the same

ha, yea good point...i mean 15 bucks isnt bad either way if it makes life easier. 75 is a little steep though for a wrapped emblem...
