Center Exhaust?
I was thinking of doing a center exhaust set up that would have a triangle tip coming out of the rotor symbol in the back bumper. Have any of you seen something like this? I have searched and did not find any results. It looks pretty easy to do. What issues do you think I would have doing this?

It's been done by a few members; I'd be wary of melting the black portion of the bumper. You'll have to cut a good distance around to prevent this from happening and that in itself may detach from the aesthetic look you're going for.

Thanks for the links and inputs. The melting issue is my major concern and then the amount of surrounding material needed to be removed and the sagging effect afterwards. Thanks again

You could use something like gold reflector/heat resistors (I've seen this a couple places like in the engine bay of the Mclaren) but maybe that would keep it from melting the plastic.

i've been thinking about doing this too.
my plan was to get the kenstyle rear and doing a RE Amemiya/greddy rx7 thing with the exaust

and do that through the section below the license plate here

What exhaust is this? This is exactly what I wanted to do. The tip size would be an issue if it was the triangle, but this looks good!

I only cut out the triangle for the exhaust hole and the oval Borla tip I used fit right in. It all fits pretty clean and was a no brain mod. I agree a rotary shape tip would look good. I'll post video and sound clip and better pics soon.

Thanks, it is different and that is what I was going for. It is hit or miss with friends of mine whether they like it or not. The factory cut out in the bumper helps it have a finished look. I still need to mesh the stock openings.

I wonder.. Mabye take off the bottom half (unpainted part) of the rear bumper. Just cut it completely off... the more I think about it the more I think it wouldn't look too bad if done properly. Any one got a spare rear bumper? doesn't have to look good and bottom can be torn to shreads lol.
