I have been thinking of the same thing (once I get the money of course)...should I go for the OEM CF Hood, or should I get something nicer?
I also have a VR 8.

ok then, i would have gone a different route then. like find a front wheel drive car and try tray slidding on the hood upside down. or there is always Fire, explosives, or very large truck or construction equipment.

it's hit or miss with CF parts. Seibons usually fit well but every now and then you get one that's way off. Philipcan has the Seibon and for some reason the gaps are larger on his then any other I've seen in person.
Remember xdeedubbx's trunk? Pretty sure it was seibon and the fitment was definitely 'off'

word.. i've heard more poor trunk fitments than hood fitments. I think as long as the gap is even all around, it'll look fine. It took some work to get my hood to fit right.. but it was definitely worth it

also, the color of your car plays a big factor into how it "fits". Lighter colors such as Silver are not as good at masking the hood gap between the front bumper or the fenders.
If you have a Brilliant Black, it's a bit more forgiving. (yet another reason BB is the best color)
