Changing over 35w ballast to 55w help
Hi, I recently purchased a 55w ballast from therpmstore.com and I was wondering how I could go about changing the ballast as the original one and the new one do not have the same connector. Any help is much appreciated and pictures on how to do it would be great.
thanks

Probably going to need a bigger fuse and wiring too.
I know honda ricers regularly burn out their wiring harnesses installing HID lights in the place of the halogens they come with. I'd hate for the same to happen to you, so make sure your wiring can handle the current load.
Good luck on the install. I've no idea how you'd do it.

When I bought the car, it was the gt model so it came with the 35w ballast already in it, then later on I bought the 55w ballast from therpmstore.com and I am trying to figure out how to change them.
The problem is that they do not have the same connector type, if anybody could help me as to how to change them or maybe there is a DIY out there.
I have already searched with no results

Why do you want to change the ballast? Are you running 55w bulbs? You don't want to run the 35w stock bulbs with a 55w ballast
You might also melt the housing if you run higher wattage HID's in there.....
