Sponsors don't always cover 100% of costs unless they or a very close friend own the car, especially considering how much work has gotten done. Hence my comment of, "I don't know how you (he) personally paid..."
I don't consider it bashing, if someone is happy with what they've got then thats all that matters. Hell, I've had people talk **** on things I've done but as long as it's personally what I'd like then its all good, they're just different opinions that make up a community. My comment was a bit of a ruse but far from bashing, I'd say.

I don't understand whats so wrong with Rota's. Unless you're a wheel freak or go to the track a lot I don't see much wrong with them. They're still really good looking wheels.

I don't know how much you personally paid for this, but clearly you've got some money, or can at least save. Rocking rotas on a car that's had this much work done would be embarassing, in my personal opinion. Then again, I'm guessing that MS kit's fake as well...

Point taken, this is only what my budget allows and to leave the stock wheels on to me is more embarrassing. I will definately be getting some advan, volks or what ever I feel fits my car's theme the best. But this is only the beginning of my cars transformation. I neither feel your comment to be bashing or negative, its just your opinion, I am sponsored for paint and mostly paid for the materials which was a pretty penny. I am not balling at all that is why this is going to be a slow progression.
Thanks for all the input.

Yes, stock wheels would actually be embarrassing! I'm one to speak, I'm rolling on OEM 350z wheels right now, lol!
Keep it up!

I think my girlfriend put it best; It's like buying an expensive dress and complimenting it with a replica/fake Gucci purse. The dress in our case, being the rx8, wheels being the purse. lol. Truth be told, even some track guys won't care about using rotas, they're inexpensive and really not too heavy. You're last point is funny though, the reason they're good looking wheels is because they are replicas.
