Christmas in July?

My wife wanted me to buy some stuff for my car back in December as a present for myself (like the RX-8 purchase a month and half before wasn't enough). I finally got around to it a couple of weeks ago. Bought the strakes, front splash guards, and the Mazdaspeed Wing (stock looks too eclipsey for me). I'm very happy with the end result, car looks very different... better. Going to wash/wax this week and I'll post some pics. LOVE the mazdaspeed wing... wife does too, she just smiled and said that I should have done this back in December.

finally got around to taking some pics

The weather was so nice down here in Florida that I figured I'd break out the camera.

Very Nice!

Bastage:

2 words: Clear Corners

Your car looks really nice! I just think that especially in the WB color, clear corners are a very easy, inexpensive, and excellent cosmetic change that will significantly improve an already beautiful car.

You may have already explored this option, and decided against it. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Again, beautiful looking 8.

Hello from over on the coast!
I got my clear corners installed this weekend. Was about $90.00+shipping. Included Stealth lifetime bulbs. Just do it, IMO.............you will be happy you did!
Oh.........nice car BTW!

I actually live in Melbourne now, and I think I've seen your car a few times.

How long did it take to install?

It will take about 5 minutes per side. Really easy mod.

I Met her in high school, but we were just friends then (I was way out of her league... she's gorgeous, I'm 2 years her junior, a freshman whose head barely made it to her shoulder). We started dating back in '97, two years after I graduated from high school. We married in '99, and in June we will celebrate 8 years of marriage, and the birth of our second child (the BOY!).

Even though her parents are probably the most stereotypical in-laws one could imagine, I won't deny it; I'm one of the luckiest #$%^#$$%#!@#$ in the world.

Oh and she's totally cool with the idea of me turboing or supercharging the car... but I'm going to use some restraint on that one...
