The jdm does look better, but that is still not the unit I had in mind. The one I was looking into getting didnt have the rivets around the perimeter.
But as I see it, Rosenthall or Trussville (spelling?) carry what I am looking for, just wasnt sure if there is another place to get it for less.

Both the USDM and JDM version have the rivets....
its just either the flat surface or the caved in surface that sets them apart...
and i must admit the JDM version is much nicer....
